Maintenance Manager

SUMMARY:
A Family-Owned Luxury Hotel is looking for a 𝗠𝗔𝗜𝗡𝗧𝗘𝗡𝗔𝗡𝗖𝗘 𝗠𝗔𝗡𝗔𝗚𝗘𝗥

POSITION INFO:
Responsibilities:

• General Maintenance and repairs to all buildings
• Upkeep repairs of all public areas
• General maintenance on electrical, plumbing, appliances and tools and equipment
• Plan, propose, manage all projects as and when required including collaboration with outside contractors
• Ensure quality control of maintenance and projects
• Prepare and submit annual and ad hoc budgets for operations and projects
• Negotiate favorable wholesale prices with suppliers
• Fleet management of company vehicles
• Ensure effective staff management within the guidelines of the company policies and legislative requirements
• Weekly and Monthly reports
• Control and manage stock levels and reports
• General overseeing and keeping of gardens and gardening team
• Planning and maintaining seasonal gardening projects and plans

• Minimum of matric
• At least 5 - 10 years experience within the hospitality industry
• Strong Leadership, Administration, Project Management and General Building Maintenance skills
• Microsoft Office (Excel & Stock System) - especially good with Excel
• Project Management skills are essential
• Valid RSA ID is required
• Valid Driver’s License and PDP is required
• Attention to detail
• Reliability and adaptability
• Exceptional report writing skills
