Maintenance Engineer

SUMMARY:
We have an exciting opportunity available for a qualified Maintenance Engineer to take on a career in the Netherlands. The successful candidate will be employed by a company who specialises in ripening, cutting, and packaging large quantities of cheese.

POSITION INFO:
Responsibilities:

• Ensure the optimal technical operation of our machines and installations, both in the short term and the long term.
• Analyse data, develop maintenance plans, and ensure that these plans are executed as scheduled.
• Prepare the (annual) maintenance plan in collaboration with the Head of Technical Services.
• Adjust maintenance schedules for major, minor, and preventive maintenance.
• Make proposals for conducting inspections and preventive maintenance based on analyses of technical failures and recommendations from suppliers.
• Propose improvements based on KPIs, evaluation reports, and data analysis.

• Completed Trade Test or technical degree.
• Minimum of 1-3 years of work experience in a technical role, such as Maintenance Engineer or Work Planner.
• Skilled at working with computers, particularly Excel.
• You are proficient in Dutch/Afrikaans, both spoken and written.
