Our Client is seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer with 5-10 years of experience in industrial maintenance within the manufacturing, mining, or energy sectors. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance of machinery, equipment, and systems. Key Responsibilities:

• Preventive & Corrective Maintenance: Perform regular inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs of machinery, equipment, and systems to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
• Maintenance Planning: Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules and strategies to enhance equipment reliability and longevity.
• Technical Support: Provide technical assistance and guidance to maintenance teams and production staff for resolving equipment malfunctions and breakdowns.
• System Improvements: Identify areas for equipment and system improvements, recommend upgrades, and implement modifications to enhance operational efficiency.
• Root Cause Analysis: Conduct detailed failure analyses to identify root causes of equipment issues, proposing and implementing corrective actions.
• Safety & Compliance: Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations during all maintenance activities, fostering a safe working environment.
• Collaboration: Work closely with operations, engineering, and production teams to ensure equipment performance aligns with production goals and objectives.
• Inventory Management: Monitor and manage spare parts inventory, ensuring timely procurement and availability for maintenance activities.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience: 5-10 years of experience in maintenance engineering within industrial sectors such as manufacturing, mining, or energy.
• Technical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems, as well as predictive maintenance techniques.
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex equipment issues and recommend effective solutions.
• Safety Knowledge: Familiarity with safety protocols, risk assessments, and regulatory standards in industrial maintenance.
• Communication: Excellent communication skills to coordinate with cross-functional teams and provide clear technical reports and updates.
• Project Management: Ability to manage multiple maintenance projects simultaneously, ensuring timely execution and meeting operational needs.

Education:

• Required: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Preferred: Certifications in maintenance management or equipment reliability, such as CMRP, CRL, or similar qualifications.
