Maintenance Datacom Engineer

SUMMARY:
Our client, a leading global provider of information and communications technology (ICT) infrastructure and smart devices are looking to employ a Datacom Engineer.

POSITION INFO:
Qualifications:

• Degree in the relevant field.
• At least 3 years of working experience
• Implementation Telecom Project
• Fluent oral and written English
• Be familiar with Microsoft Word / Excel / Power Point
• Good Communication
• Behaviour and Customer centric skills should posses
• HCIE or HCIP certificates are preferred.
• Have strong learning and summary output capabilities, and have strong business understanding.
• Have a basic command of routing and switching principles, BGP, QoS, SRV6, EVPN, and VXLAN technologies.
• Be familiar with any datacom product, such as routers, switches, and firewalls, or be familiar with NCE knowledge, IT cloud computing, and virtualization technologies.
• Have general knowledge of at least one datacom product solution, such as IPRAN, telecom cloud bearer, and campus network.

• Responsible for routine network maintenance, fault locating, troubleshooting of datacom products.
• Responsible for routine health check, network risk clearance, perform rectification and precaution check on datacom products.
• Manage and handle the Maintenance operations on the datacom products.
• Provide filed maintenance and technical support for datacom product as per customer requests.
• Provide pre-sales technical support for key projects related to datacom products and solutions as a service technical expert.
• Good customer service awareness and strong internal and external communication and promotion capabilities.
