Are you a detail-oriented, technically skilled individual with a passion for quality and precision?

We are currently seeking a Machine Operator – Laminator to join a company based in Edenvale.

This is a hands-on role within the printing, packaging, and flexible material space.

Ideal for someone who enjoys working with machines and takes pride in delivering high-quality laminated products.

Key Responsibilities:

Set up and operate laminating machines to apply protective layers to various printed materials, documents, or items.
Adjust machine settings (temperature, pressure, and speed) according to material specifications.
Prepare materials for lamination by cutting, sizing, and aligning as needed.
Load and select the appropriate laminating films or sheets.
Troubleshoot and resolve basic machine issues promptly to minimize downtime.
Inspect final products for common defects such as wrinkles, bubbles, or misalignment.
Ensure finished products meet internal quality standards and client requirements.
Complete all production paperwork accurately and on time.

Requirements:

Matric
1 - 2 years of previous experience operating laminating or similar machinery in a production environment.
Basic mechanical and troubleshooting skills.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good physical stamina – ability to stand for long periods and handle materials.
Strong time management and organisational skills.
