SUMMARY:
The Millwright will play a critical role in supporting the operations team by providing both electrical and mechanical assistance to ensure the plant operates at optimal capacity. The role focuses on maintenance, repairs, and preventive care of plant equipment.
POSITION INFO:
Qualifications & Experience:
- Qualified Millwright with relevant certification (Section 13 or Section 26D).
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in maintaining large electrical and mechanical installations, with a strong electrical troubleshooting ability.
- Experience with SCADA, PLC control systems, and field instrumentation is an advantage.
- Understanding of instrumentation principles, plant equipment operating principles, and system troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with safety procedures and the safe use of maintenance tools.
- Ability to read and interpret technical data and maintain accurate records.
- Knowledge of VSD applications, medium voltage switchgear, and 22KV overhead power line maintenance.
- Willingness to work in various environmental conditions, including confined spaces and at heights.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and have reliable transportation.
- Willingness to travel and support other sites within the region.
- Availability for standby duties after hours and over weekends.
