We're Hiring! Textile Weaving Loom Technician – George
Are you a skilled Loom Technician with a passion for precision and machinery? Join a dynamic team in George and play a crucial role in crafting high-quality woven textiles!
Your Responsibilities:

Operate & Maintain Narrow Fabric Looms – Set up pile fabric machines, prepare, and ensure smooth production with accurate warp start-ups.

Troubleshoot & Repair – Identify and fix faults, conduct routine inspections, and maintain looms with preventative maintenance programs.
â
Ensure Safety – Maintain safety features, controls, and PPE compliance.
â
Document & Report – Keep accurate records of repairs, adjustments, and maintenance.
â
Quality Control – Verify new warps against production sheets and maintain top-notch quality standards.
What You Bring:
- Grade 12 with Textile qualification
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in Textile weaving operations
- Mechanical aptitude with strong troubleshooting and repair skills.
- Hands-on knowledge of loom operation and maintenance.
- Attention to detail to ensure precision in every weave.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
- Strong communication skills to keep operations running smoothly.
