Logistics Supervisor

SUMMARY:
A large international company, dealing within the FMCG industry, has an opportunity for a Logistics Controller in their Johannesburg Branch.

POSITION INFO:
Requirements:

• Manage the administration priorities of 3rd party depots, ensuring an efficient and effective delivery of good customer service in those regions
• Support the greater national logistics infrastructure, alleviating pressures at national depots as required, with a day to day focus on JHB support
• Manage the expired and at risk stock
• Execute all third party depot management
• Manage and implement SLA for 3rd party depots
• Assist with batch code allocations in JHB and national depots when required
• Manage scorecards of 3rd party depots
• Issue daily reports as required e.g. delivery effectiveness
• Manage the cash sales reconciliations and document submissions
• Manage SCT processing/inputs and truck utilization
• Manage the expired or soon to be expired stock in all regions
• Manage and co-ordinate the logistics Tempo and Complaints 2 information and feedback nationally
• Monitor and collate early warning quality issues
• Maintain the work procedures on Tempo
• Support administrative functions in all depots nationally
• Support the National Logistics Managers in the implementation of best practices nationally
• Min Grade 12 certificate, a relevant Degree or studying towards a relevant Degree
• Minimum 2-3 years work experience preferable
• Fluent in English
