SUMMARY:
NDC Personnel & Contractors is seeking a Logistics Manager (Exports) to join a logistics company in Johannesburg!

POSITION INFO:
This role requires a professional with Matric and at least 5 years of management experience, specifically in perishable food exports. A tertiary qualification in a relevant field is highly desirable, as is airfreight experience. Candidates should have a strong background in supply chain, shipping, and logistics, with proficiency in Microsoft Office, export management tools, or ERP systems.

As the Logistics Manager (Exports), you’ll lead a small team, with indirect supervision over warehouse operations, ensuring efficiency and compliance with international trade regulations. Your responsibilities will include managing the performance and shipment execution of applicable client portfolios, developing commercial strategies for growth, and maintaining a competitive edge in the company’s services.

You’ll ensure competitive products and services, and manage client services. You’ll also manage client portfolios, engage with airlines on space, pricing, and queries, ensure compliance with relevant legislation, and manage risks. Your financial duties will cover managing specific budgets.
