PURPOSE:

Overall responsibility for the movement, storage, distribution and administration of our client's stock - to ultimately ensure that the right products are delivered to the right location on time and at the best cost. Responsible for the development and implementation of strategies to enhance customer service, increase sales and efficiency and the overall profitability of the business. Responsible for managing the relationship and deliverables of logistics partners and vendors

Qualification, Skills and Experience required

• Grade 12 qualification supported by at least 5 years’ experience in a similar role
• A qualification in International Freight Management/ Transport Economics or Supply Chain Management would be advantageous
• Quantifiable experience in international import supply chain management and distribution
• Thorough knowledge of domestic warehousing and courier operations
• Strong administrative skills
• Good numerical skills
• Demonstrated commercial acumen
• Working knowledge of CRM and ERP system - MS Business Central would be an added advantage
• Good written and spoken skills in English
• High degree of professionalism
• intermediate skills in Excel and SharePoint
