SUMMARY:
We are assisting our client within the manufacturing industry based in Durban in recruiting for an experienced, hands-on Logistics manager.

POSITION INFO:

Responsibilities and Experience

Organising transport and negotiating rates with transporters, and planning from a dispatch side.
Working with production and internal Sales to plan dispatch and deliveries.
Have broad experience of production/planning/supply chain processes in a manufacturing environment.
Will have 5 x Supervisors reporting into it and they are spread over 2 sites.
Overall staff count around 15 – 20 staff
Managing logistics on a national scale.
Will be based at companies two sites
They would also be required to travel in KZN and potentially to JHB as well as we have a warehouse based there.
