SUMMARY:
We have a role available for a Logistics Manager with previous fruit industry experience.

POSITION INFO:
Minimum Requirements:

Grade 12
Suitable Degree /Diploma
Previous logistics experience from the fruit industry
Management experience/ability
Able to travel to farms from time to time when needed

Duties and Responsibilities:

Collaborate with management, sales, and procurement to plan and execute efficient logistics operations from farmers and suppliers to the end client.
Establish and maintain relationships with various service providers (clearing agents, port service providers, and shipping lines).
Negotiate contracts, agree on standard operating procedures, and monitor service provider performance.
Ensure effective communication between internal and external stakeholders.
Track logistics costs and report on key performance indicators.
Manage administrative tasks related to service providers.
Conduct regular site visits to assess operations.
