Position Overview
As a Logistics Coordinator, you will oversee and streamline the movement of goods, manage inventory levels, and ensure timely delivery while providing excellent communication to customers and vendors. Key Responsibilities
- Budget Management: Manage distribution and shipment budgets to optimize cost-efficiency.
- Shipment Tracking: Work with transport partners to monitor shipment progress and address any issues.
- Purchase Order Review: Ensure purchase orders are accurate and updated with shipping details (ETD, ETA).
- Customer & Vendor Communication: Respond to queries about shipping and order movements, ensuring clear and timely communication.
- Inventory Coordination: Collaborate with the warehouse team to adjust inventory levels as needed.
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate records using MS Office tools (Excel and Word) and generate essential reports.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years in customer service or logistics (preferred).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word) and experience with ERP systems (e.g., Sage, SAP).
- Supply Chain Knowledge: Solid understanding of supply chain operations and the ability to navigate common challenges.
- Key Skills: Strong problem-solving, organizational, and analytical skills, with high attention to detail.
