Logistics Controller

SUMMARY:
Global food manufacturing requires an experienced Logistics Administration Controller located in Johannesburg, reporting to the Regional Manager for Eastern and Western Cape.  Will also report into the Johanesburg Supervisor.

POSITION INFO:
Purpose:

The incumbent will be responsible for managing the administration of all 3rd party depots and supply chain transfers, while supporting the administration of best practices at national depots

Duties include:

• Manage the expired or soon to be expired stock in all regions
• Manage SCT processing/inputs and truck utilization
• Execute all third-party depot management
• Manage and co-ordinate the logistics inhouse programme and complaints platform, inorder to provide information and feedback nationally
• Monitor and collate early warnings of quality issues
• Maintain the work procedures on logistics softward
• Support administrative functions in all depots nationally
• Support the National Logistics Manager in the implementation of best practices nationally

• Relevant Degree / Diploma
• Min 2 – 3 years’ experience in an FMCG environment
• Relevant Quality, Food Safety and Safety Systems knowledge
• Knowledge of cold chain supply
