Linux Telephony Technical Support Engineer – 100% Remote – R 1.08m PA
POSITION INFO:
An opportunity for a Linux Telephony Technical Support Engineer has been made available with an international pioneer that is an award- winning recognized by industry influencers, associations and publications.

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., Computer Science, IT, Business) is preferred, along with several years of experience in technical support or a similar role
- Industry experience with Voice Recording
- Telephony systems (Microsoft Teams, Cisco, Avaya, RingCentral, Broadsoft, etc.)
- SIP Signaling with a solid understanding of the protocol
- Linux and Windows Server
- Microsoft Azure Network
- Windows networking
- Wireshark / WinPcap
Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership:
- Manage and mentor a global team of technical support professionals
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture
- Strategy Development:
- Develop and implement support strategies that align with company goals
- Analyze support metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement
- Resource Management:
- Manage resources effectively, including Stang levels, budget allocation, and
- technology infrastructure to support the technical support team''s operations
- Customer Engagement:
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through effective support solutions
- Engage with key customers to understand their needs and feedback
- Process Improvement:
- Streamline support processes and develop best practices
- Implement new technologies and tools to enhance support efficiency
- Technical Expertise:
- Stay informed about the organization''s products or services, as well as industry trends and best practices in technical support
- Provide guidance to your team on complex technical issues
