Our client specializes in project support for the (petro) chemical and maritime industries. They provide personnel in the areas of Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Operations, Maintenance, and Safety. They are seeking a Lifecycle Architect for Naval Ships.

Non- negotiable qualifications and experience required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Naval Engineering or a related discipline.
• Strong experience in lifecycle management of naval systems.
• Location Requirement: Candidates should either be South African residents currently living in the Netherlands or South Africans willing to relocate to the Netherlands.
• Fluency in Afrikaans (both written and spoken).

• In-depth knowledge of naval architecture, system integration, and project management.
• Proficient in lifecycle management software and tools.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.

• Oversee the entire lifecycle of naval ship systems from concept to decommissioning.
• Develop and manage the integration of design, construction, and operational phases.
• Lead the team in ensuring the systems meet regulatory and performance standards.
• Create lifecycle management strategies for system upgrades and repairs.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance on long-term ship architecture solutions.
