SUMMARY:
Legal secretary (Commercial department), Pretoria. Candidate must have at least 5 years’ experience in a legal attorney/firm with an understanding of a legal practice and knowledge of general legal processes (action and application proceedings) as a Legal Secretary.

Provide administrative support to attorneys, including managing calendars, scheduling appointments, and organizing meetings.
Draft and proofread legal documents, letters, and correspondence with a high degree of accuracy.
Maintain and organise case files, both electronic and physical, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with legal standards.
Prepare trial and hearing binders, exhibits, and relevant documentation.
Communicate effectively with clients, court personnel, and other legal professionals on behalf of attorneys.
Manage billing processes, including tracking billable hours and preparing invoices. Able to keep track of disbursements, debtors and creditors and to ensure timeous invoicing and payment.
