Legal Administrator - Cape Town

SUMMARY:
Our client is looking for a Legal Administrator to join their team and take control of the legal and compliance, within financial services

POSITION INFO:
Job Specification
Legal & Compliance Administration
Maintain an up-to-date set of signed client and supplier contracts both electronically and in hard copy
Maintain generic contract templates for all our client's services
FICA Compliance
Maintain an up-to-date FICA Register
Liaise with Compliance Reporting Company on regulatory compliance matters and ensure regulatory registrations and approvals are kept up to date
Maintain/manage Fit and Proper Tracker to ensure that representatives are always compliant
Manage and facilitate the Group's company secretarial services which include, filing all applicable company secretarial documentation as required, and creating and managing a record of what company secretarial obligations are
Update Central Supplier Database with company information

Minimum Requirements
LLB or Preferred Paralegal Qualification
3-5 years experience within the finance or Legal industry
Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential
Excellent organisational skills, deadline-driven and delivery-focused
Flexibility in terms of juggling multiple deliverables and priorities
Strong MS Office skills
Team player but also able to work independently
Diligent follow-up with all stakeholders and vendors
Understanding of the legal and compliance side of financial services
Ability to be proactive and use initiative in problem-solving.
Strong attention to detail
