CORE PURPOSE OF JOB To teach School Leadership at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. To supervise post graduate students in the field of School Leadership and Education. To publish and lead research in the field of School Leadership and Education. To participate in Community Engagement projects. To engage in the assessment of School-Based Learning and Teaching. KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS Facilitate learning, teaching, and assessment processes in the Faculty. Engage in scholarly work with an increased focus on the Africanisation and Decolonization of School Leadership and Leadership theories. Lead research within the Faculty, in the field of School Leadership within the context of Education. Engage in postgraduate supervision in the field of School Leadership within the context of Education. Participate in and contribute to Community Engagement in the Faculty\/Institution. Participate in Faculty Administration. CORE COMPETENCIES Ability to facilitate learning, teaching and assessment processes in the field of School Leadership in the Faculty. Facilitate the teaching of School Leadership at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. A sound knowledge of assessment strategies within the digital space as it relates to the field of School Leadership and Education. Ability to teach School Leadership to a diverse group of students. Ability to assess undergraduate students for School Based Learning. Ability to conduct scholarly work with an increased focus on Africanization and Decolonization of School Leadership within the Education context. Supervision of postgraduate students to completion. Ability to work and effectively engage in interdisciplinary discourse. Facilitate and engage in curriculum development initiatives at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Ability to work on Moodle. REQUIREMENTS A relevant PhD or Masters degree in Education Leadership or equivalent. Experience (1-5 years) in the teaching of School Leadership at a University level. Sound disciplinary and content knowledge in School Leadership and Education. A proven record of: Experience in supervising M&D students to completion.
