To be considered for appointment to this post, candidates must have the following: Qualification Be in possession of a Master’s degree in Human Movement Science (or equivalent). Registration Be a registered Biokineticist with the HPCSA. Experience Have two years’ experience in either teaching/lecturing/research or industry in the relevant field or Two years’ teaching experience at university level. Provide evidence of experience in clinical assessment and the utilization of specialized laboratory equipment in the field of Kinathropometry and evaluation methods. Research The publication of a journal article(s) or a conference presentation would be a strong recommendation. An ISAK qualification level I or II would be an advantage. Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills with students, staff and the public . Have proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office, (Word, Excel, Power-Point and Outlook). Please note that candidates who are invited for an interview will be expected to undergo a competency-based assessment of skills. Candidates will be given sufficient time to prepare for this. |
