SUMMARY:
A next generation Fintech company is looking for a Lead Software Engineer (PHP, Docker) to join their team based in Cape Town. Current experience as a Lead Developer will be preferred.

POSITION INFO:
Requirements:

Grade 12 or equivalent (Essential)
Formal programming qualification (Desirable)
+2 years in a leadership role (Essential)
+8 years’ experience as a Software Developer (Essential)
Experience using PHP (Desirable)
Experience in architecting, developing, testing, deploying systems (Essential)
Knowledge of software development methodologies
Knowledge of caching, version control, message queues, issue tracking, monitoring, database transactions and testing methodologies
