SUMMARY:
The Laser Alignment Test Technician is responsible for performing precise laser alignment and dynamic balancing on rotating machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance and reduce downtime

POSITION INFO:
Minimum requirements:

• Matric or relevant qualification
• 3 + Years experience as a Laser Alignment Technician
• Proven experience in performing Laser Alignment tests on various machinery and equipment within the steel industry
• Ability to conduct Dynamic Balancing on rotating equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize vibration
• Strong knowledge and understanding of Fluid Drive Couplings and their applications
• Familiarity with Lathe Machining processes
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and specifications
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills related to alignment and balancing issues
• Experience using alignment and balancing tools and equipment
