Kitchen Manager

SUMMARY:
We are looking for a kitchen manager that will be responsible for managing all aspects of the kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, inventory management, and staff supervision. They must ensure that the kitchen operates efficiently, meets health and safety regulations, and delivers high-quality food to customers. The kitchen manager will also be responsible for creating menus, ordering supplies, and maintaining kitchen equipment.

POSITION INFO:

1. Educational Requirements:
• Diploma or Degree in Culinary Arts, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
2. Experience:
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a professional kitchen, including 2+ years in a management role, preferably in a 5-star establishment.
3. Skills & Competencies:
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Proven ability to manage a diverse team in a high-pressure environment.
• Knowledge of modern cooking techniques, menu development, and plating styles.
• Proficient in budgeting, cost control, and inventory management.
4. Certifications:
• Food Safety and Hygiene certification (e.g., HACCP).
• First Aid certification (preferred).
