Key Accounts Manager

SUMMARY:
Our Client who is in the manufacturing sector is looking for a Key Accounts Manager to drive sales within the organisation.

POSITION INFO:
Minimum Requirements:

• Matric & Sales and Marketing Diploma / Degree (ideal)
• 3+ Years’ experience within sales management role (ideally in the bedding manufacturing/similar industry)
• Experience with several systems (Syspro, etc.)
• Full understanding of product development and production costs to include waste, down-time, scrap and re-work

• Assist senior management team in supporting and driving sales growth, achieving sales targets
• Design and implement strategic sales plans to maximise sales and growth opportunities
• Grow sales with existing customers.
• Seek opportunities to grow the company’s Customer base in existing and new markets
• Research and gather appropriate information on target markets
• Ensure that call cycles are being adhered to
• Represent the Company at various tradeshows
• Maintain a well-informed working knowledge of all product ranges, production workflow, warrantee, and guarantee, etc.
• Generate sales reports including all booking reports and other daily, weekly, monthly and annual reporting
• Follow up and on-going sales relationships with qualified Clients to ensure ROI of attended tradeshows
• Manage support staff including monitoring of assignments, productivity
• Control Spiv Reports to key Customers
• Renegotiate FY rebates with key Customers
• Roll out when price increases when due to team & Customers
• Control resource effectively to support customer delivery requirements and Lean Manufacturing principles
• Conduct incident and non-conformity investigations and associated reporting and action closure.
• Provide support and input to continuous improvement activities within the team
