Key Accounts Manager – Personal/ Homecare Chemical Raw Materials, Gauteng

SUMMARY:
A well-established manufacturing and distribution company requires the above to manage, maintain and grow a portfolio of personal care and home care key accounts within the manufacturing industry supplying them with speciality chemical raw materials.

POSITION INFO:
Minimum requirements for the role:

• A minimum matric is essential for this role.
• A Diploma/Degree in chemistry or COSCHEM Diploma or related is preferred for the role.
• Previous experience having managed key accounts within the personal care and or homecare or food or related manufacturing industry is essential for the role.
• Previous experience having worked on SAP is preferred for the role.
• Must be a strong team player with the ability to build and foster relationships.
• Computer literacy with good working knowledge of Microsoft packages is essential.

• Managing, maintaining and growing a portfolio of personal care and home care key accounts within the manufacturing industry supplying them with speciality chemical raw materials.
• Providing forecasts and budgets for each customer portfolio.
• Achieving budget year on year and growing customer base year on year in terms of volume, revenue and margins.
• Handling price negotiations at a senior level.
• Developing new business working alongside the product and technical managers within the company.
• Providing new product launches and technical presentations at customer’s.
• Forecasting stock / product requirements for customers on a monthly basis.
• Assisting the sales team with technical briefs and new product development.
• Ensuring that customers requirements are met with regards to pricing and stock availability.
