Key Account Manager – Asia Region (Logistics & Freight Forwarding)

POSITION INFO:
My client is seeking a motivated and experienced Key Account Manager to manage and expand relationships with key clients in the Asia region.

The successful candidate will play a critical role in maintaining client satisfaction while identifying growth opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Client Relationship Management:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts in the Asia region.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact, promptly addressing client inquiries and resolving issues.
• Sales & Business Development:
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop strategies for customer base expansion.
• Market Analysis:
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity to discover growth opportunities.
  • Provide feedback and insights to internal teams for service enhancement.
• Cross-functional Collaboration:
  • Work closely with internal departments to ensure seamless service delivery to clients.
  • Participate in regular meetings with operations and logistics teams to align on client needs.
• Reporting & Documentation:
  • Prepare regular reports on account status, sales activities, and forecasts.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of client interactions and transactions.

• National Senior Certificate or equivalent required.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is a plus.
• 2-3 years of experience in sales or marketing.
• Experience in the freight forwarding industry is advantageous.
• Fluent in English and Mandarin (speaking, reading, writing, and listening).
