SUMMARY:
We require a Junior Stock Controller in the Tulbagh / Winelands area. You will be responsible for management of inventory, accurate stock levels and maintain a streamlined stock control process

POSITION INFO:

Minimum Requirements:

Grade 12
National Diploma / Certificate in Supply Chain / Business Admin, Logistics or similar field
1-2 years stock control experience within FMCG
Exposure to ERP systems

Duties and Responsibilities:

Help monitor stock levels and maintain accurate records of all inventory transactions
Perform regular stock counts and reconciliations to identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions
Keep updated records of stock movements, incoming deliveries, and outgoing shipments
Work with procurement and warehouse teams to ensure timely stock replenishment
Verify and cross-check delivery notes, invoices, and stock receiving documentation
Ensure compliance with FIFO (First In, First Out) and FEFO (First Expired, First Out) inventory principles
Assist in investigating stock variances and provide reports to senior management
Support the implementation and adherence to inventory control policies and procedures
Help prepare reports on stock levels, turnover rates, and potential stock shortages
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory standards related to stock storage and handling
Assist in maintaining an organized and efficient warehouse layout for easy stock retrieval and movement
Participate in periodic audits and ensure adherence to internal controls and regulatory requirements
