Junior Report Writer

SUMMARY:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Jnr Report Writer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for transforming raw data into insightful and actionable reports that cater to a variety of stakeholders.
Your expertise in data analytics and IT Service Management (ITSM) will enable you to present complex information in a clear and understandable manner.

POSITION INFO:
Duties & Responsibilities
- Gather raw data from various sources, including ITSM tools, databases, and data
queries.
- Analyze and interpret complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights
relevant to IT operations.
- Design, create, and maintain reports that e􀆯ectively communicate key metrics
and findings to diverse audiences.
- Tailor reports to meet the needs of di􀆯erent stakeholders, ensuring clarity and
relevance.
- Utilize data visualization tools and techniques to enhance report presentation
and comprehension.
- Create dashboards and visual aids that summarize data in an accessible format.
- Work closely with IT teams, management, and other departments to understand
reporting needs and requirements.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure reports are aligned with organizational
goals and objectives.
- Review and validate data accuracy and integrity before finalizing reports.
- Continuously assess and improve reporting processes to enhance e􀆯iciency and
e􀆯ectiveness.
- Document reporting processes and methodologies to ensure consistency and
standardization.
- Provide training and support to team members on report usage and data
interpretation.
- Ensure adherence to data governance policies and ITIL practices in all reporting
activities.
- Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in data analytics and
reporting.

Desired Experience & Qualification
- National Diploma in IT or equivalent (mandatory).
- Data Analytics Certification (mandatory).

Experience:
- 2+ years of relevant experience in report writing, data analysis, or related roles.
- Proven experience in operational ITSM reporting and data interpretation.
- Optional (Graphics Design)

Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Excel, Power BI, Tableau).
- Strong understanding of data visualization techniques and best practices.
