SUMMARY:
A company in Pretoria is seeking a Junior RF Engineer.

POSITION INFO:
We are looking for a passionate and motivated Junior RF Engineer to assist with the design, testing, and optimization of RF systems. You will work alongside experienced Engineers and gain hands-on experience in the development of RF components, from antennas and filters to complex communication systems. This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates or early-career Engineers to develop their skills in the RF field.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the design, testing, and analysis of RF circuits and systems.
Support the development and optimization of RF components, including amplifiers, filters, and antennas.
Conduct measurements and simulations using RF test equipment and software tools.
Work with Senior Engineers to troubleshoot and resolve RF-related issues.
Participate in the design and validation of PCB layouts for RF applications.
Analyze performance data and help optimize the performance of RF systems.
Assist in the preparation of technical documentation and reports.
Stay up-to-date with the latest RF technologies and industry trends.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field.
Some experience or coursework in RF design, signal processing, or related areas (internships or projects are a plus).
Knowledge of RF measurement tools and techniques (e.g., spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, signal generators).
Familiarity with RF simulation software (e.g., ADS, CST, HFSS, etc.) is a plus.
Strong problem-solving skills and a desire to learn.
Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate effectively with other Engineers.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
