Job Overview:

An energetic and passionate Junior Management Couple is sought to join a dedicated team at an exclusive, privately-owned game lodge in Pilanesberg. The ideal candidates will possess a unique blend of experience in field guiding, front-of-house management, housekeeping, and laundry management.

Key Responsibilities:
Field Guide (for one partner):

• Lead guests on thrilling game drives, bush walks, and other wildlife experiences, ensuring an unforgettable experience.
• Provide insightful commentary on the local flora, fauna, and ecosystem.
• Ensure guest safety while adhering to all conservation guidelines and protocols.
• Share a passion for conservation, creating lasting memories for guests.

• Oversee smooth daily operations of the lodge, ensuring exceptional guest service.
• Manage guest check-ins and check-outs, reservations, and customer inquiries.
• Coordinate communication between departments to maintain seamless operations.
• Ensure high standards of guest care, attention to detail, and hospitality at all times.
• Supervise the housekeeping team to ensure that guest rooms, communal areas, and outdoor spaces are impeccably maintained.
• Manage laundry operations, ensuring linen is maintained and cleaned to the highest standard.
• Train and motivate housekeeping staff to maintain excellent cleanliness and service standards.
• Maintain inventories of cleaning supplies and laundry equipment.

• A minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in both field guiding (with FGASA qualifications preferred) and front-of-house management.
• Previous experience in housekeeping and laundry management in a luxury lodge or similar hospitality environment is essential.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.
• Strong understanding of lodge operations and attention to detail.
• Ability to live on-site and work in a remote, outdoor environment.
• A flexible, hands-on attitude with the willingness to assist in various aspects of lodge operations.
