POSITION INFO:

Are you ready to make the next step as Junior Financial Manager where growth and development are offered? We are looking for a highly motivated, diligent, reliable individual to join the small but dynamic finance team, adding value to the company as it is expanding and growing. This position is ideal for a graduated individual or if you are in the final year of graduation.

You are analytical and a resourceful problem solver with strong interpersonal skills. As you enjoy challenges and being part of the success of the team and company, this opportunity might just be for you.

Requirements:

Matric with relevant DEGREE in Accounting (or final studies)
Solid understanding of Accounting practices
Strong computer software skills - quick learner
Team player who enjoys responsibility

Duties:

Electronic payments
Cash Book reconciliation
Correlation, preparation and compilation of monthly records
All aspects of full accounting functions of smaller companies
Posting payments to GL and reconciliation of certain GL control accounts
Monthly journals
Weekly checking of Petty Cash
Monthly reconciliations
Maintain Fixed Asset Register
Debtors / Creditors management
