SUMMARY:
Are you a driven and detail-oriented finance professional ready to take on new challenges? We are looking for a Junior Finance Manager to join our dynamic team and contribute to both specific business units and group finance activities.
In this role, you’ll work in a fast-paced environment, handling critical financial tasks while ensuring compliance, accuracy, and efficiency.

POSITION INFO:

Requirements

Education:

Matric (Grade 12).
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.

Experience:

Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in Accounting.
Exposure to a large corporate environment, preferably within a group of companies.

Technical Skills:

Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial analysis, and internal controls.
Advanced proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel.

Personal Attributes:

Performance-driven with the ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Reliable, accountable, and detail-oriented.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Reporting & Analysis:

Compile and distribute monthly financial and management reports.
Meet critical month-end deadlines.
Review financial performance and prepare balance sheet reconciliations.
Generate GP reports for analysis and margin interrogation.

General Ledger & Reconciliations:

Compile monthly general ledger reconciliations.
Capture financial entries and prepare detailed reports for business units.

Fixed Assets Management:

Maintain Capex records, including applications, additions, disposals, depreciation, and accounting entries.

Executive Support:

Prepare Exco packs and PDF documents for senior decision-makers.

Compliance & Internal Control:

Ensure adherence to internal processes and company policies.
Monitor Finance compliance tasks and assist in internal and external audits, ensuring no material issues arise.
Regularly review and update finance policies.

Process Improvement:

Identify and drive system enhancements to improve reporting accuracy and operational efficiency.

Ad Hoc Tasks:

Take on additional responsibilities as required.
