Junior Data Analyst

The Role:
The Junior Data Analyst will play a key role in unlocking the power of data to drive decision-making and operational efficiency at Rentoza. This role is ideal for a motivated individual eager to apply their analytical skills in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will collect, analyse, and visualise data to uncover insights that guide the subscription economy in Africa.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify data-driven solutions for business challenges.
• Collect, clean, and organize large datasets for analysis.
• Create reports and dashboards to track key performance metrics.
• Analyze trends and patterns in customer behavior, subscription performance, and operational data.
• Provide actionable insights and recommendations based on data findings.
• Support the development and optimization of predictive models and algorithms.
• Ensure data quality and maintain documentation of data processes.
• Ability to create data documentation and visualisations for external partners such as investors.
• Good presentation skills are a must.

• Proficient in data visualization tools (e.g., Looker Studio, Power BI, or similar).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with statistical methods and techniques.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills to convey complex information simply.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 1+ years of experience in data analysis or a related role (internship experience considered).
• Proficiency in SQL and a programming language such as Python or R.
• Basic knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS or GCP is a plus.
