POSITION INFO:

Junior Bookkeeper

Location: Stellenbosch

Salary: Market Related per month, depending on experience

Must preferably be available immediately!

Our client, a leading Property Refurbishment and Projects Company, seeks a Junior Bookkeeper to join their dynamic team, who can start Immediately or as soon as possible at their offices in Stellenbosch.

Must live in or around Stellenbosch Area

Job Purpose:

You will be responsible for supporting various initiatives across our portfolio. Collaboration is key to the company success, and you will engage regularly with multiple departments to ensure seamless execution of projects. You will report directly to the divisional Accountant, ensuring alignment with financial objectives and accurate project tracking.

Requirements:

• Grade 12
• Bookkeeping qualifications advantageous
• 2+ Years Relevant experience in Bookkeeping/Accounting
• Solid understanding of bookkeeping and account payable principals
• Strong Excel skills
• Own transport

Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Performing bookkeeping duties such as recording, posting and processing day to day financial transactions and to perform related reconciliations
• Assist in communication to suppliers
• Process invoices on accounting systems
• Assist in supplier recons and payments
• General Admin tasks relating to the department
