POSITION INFO:
Role: JUNIOR QUANTITY ESTIMATOR /SURVEYOR
Location: Richards Bay - KZN
Minimum Requirements and Skills:
- Grade 12
- Proven experience between 3-5 years
- Qualification in Quantity Surveying
- Computer literate ( MS Excel/ word /Outlook/MS Projects )
- Well-developed English language skills ( speak, read and write )
- Pro-activity
- Confidence and decisiveness
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Driver’s license
Role & Responsibilities:- Prepare and Analyze costing for tenders, Negotiating to ensure budgets are not exceeded.
- Ability to read building plans and drawings
- Pricing of all BOQ’S
- Compilation and monitoring of project allowances
- Measuring on site
- Preparation and submission of tender documents and quotes
- Attend site meetings and liaising with end users
- Planning and organizing
- Presenting and communicating information
