SUMMARY:
We are seeking a skilled Irrigation Specialist to join our clients team in Stellenbosch. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, installing, and maintaining efficient irrigation systems for agricultural, commercial, and residential projects. The ideal candidate will have experience with various irrigation methods, troubleshooting system issues, and ensuring optimal water usage. This role requires technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work outdoors in various conditions. POSITION INFO:
Minimum requirements:

Relevant qualification in Irrigation, Agriculture, Engineering, or a related field (advantageous)
Minimum 5 years' experience in irrigation system installation, maintenance, and repair
Strong knowledge of different irrigation systems (drip, sprinkler, pivot, etc.) and water conservation techniques
Ability to read and interpret irrigation plans, blueprints, and technical manuals
Experience working with irrigation controllers, pumps, valves, and filtration systems
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Physical fitness and ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to job sites
Knowledge of local water regulations and environmental compliance (preferred)
Excellent communication and customer service skills
