Job description
As an Internal Technical Sales Officer, you will use your technical knowledge along with sales skills to provide advice and support on a range of products, via the telephone, email, and with walk-in customers.

Duties include:

• Quotations
• Product advice
• Processing of orders/invoicing
• Building relationships with existing and new customers
• Provide sales support to assigned accounts
• Stock replenishment ordering
• Continuous telephonic and e-liaison with customers
• Researching new sales opportunities

• The successful candidate will hold at least a matric certificate
• Computer literacy experience with specific reference to Excel, MS Word, and Outlook
• Experience with Pastel invoicing is preferred
• Technical product sales experience or a recently achieved technical qualification
• Experience ideally in the marine environment with electrical and related products
• Electrical or Mecelec Diploma would be an advantage

• Fast learner with strong team spirit and positive thinking attitude
• Flexible to learn and develop new skills, competencies, and technical acumen
• Proactive with strong results orientation
• Solid communication and presentation ability
