A global leader in sustainable solutions is seeking a seasoned Internal Audit Manager to lead and enhance their control environment across multiple regions.

POSITION INFO:
This on-site role is based at their JHB East Head Office and requires travel to operations in South Africa, Nigeria, Ethiopia, and Kenya.

Duties:

Develop and implement internal audit and control frameworks.
Lead risk assessment and compliance initiatives.
Monitor and enhance financial control systems.
Investigate fraud, ethics, and compliance issues.
Collaborate with finance and operational teams to drive control improvements.
Report findings and insights to executive leadership.

Job Experience & Skills Required:

Qualifications:

Matric (Grade 12)
BCom Internal Audit or Accounting
BCom Honours Internal Audit or Accounting
CIA or CA(SA)

Experience:

10+ years in audit, finance, or compliance, preferably in manufacturing.
Manufacturing exposure is a MUST
Strong leadership, analytical thinking, and ERP (SAP/SAP GRC) expertise.
Knowledge: Internal audit standards, SOX frameworks, and risk management.

Skills & Competencies:

Proven ability to develop and implement audit strategies aligned with business goals
Strong people management skills, including recruitment, coaching, and performance management
Experience in cross-functional collaboration with finance, IT, and operational teams
Excellent analytical thinking with a keen eye for detail and accuracy
Strong problem-solving abilities to assess control weaknesses and implement improvements
