Duties:

• Implementing the internal audit framework and methodology.
• Conducting organisation-wide assessments of inherent risks and control risks.
• Developing internal audit plans based on risk assessments.
• Planning and executing management requests and other ad hoc audit assignments.
• Evaluating the adequacy of key controls.
• Performing population analysis and selecting samples.
• Carrying out fieldwork and testing the effectiveness of controls.
• Utilising data analytics to support audit activities.
• Compiling audit findings and formulating agreed action plans.
• Drafting internal audit reports.
• Finalising audit files in accordance with best practices and methodologies.
• Cultivating relationships with management and executives.

• Matric (Grade 12)
• BCom Finance
• BCom Honours
• CA(SA) or CIA

• Completed SAICA Articles
• Big 4 audit experience
• Minimum of 4 years of Internal Audit experience
• At least 2 year of management experience
• Internal audit experience within the insurance industry
• Experience with Data Analytics testing is beneficial
• Must have knowledge of internal control and relevant internal audit techniques
