Qualifications:

• BCom in Finance, Risk and Compliance
• CA(SA) or CIA
• 10 years' experience
• SAP, GRC or Diligent

• Designing, implementing, and maintaining the region’s comprehensive risk and control framework.
• Collaborating with IT teams to develop the IT General Controls (ITGC) framework and Segregation of Duties (SOD) controls.
• Continuously monitoring the performance and effectiveness of internal controls across the region.
• Leading the development and execution of the region’s internal audit strategy and ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
• Planning, executing, supervising, and reporting on internal audits in accordance with the organization’s strategic risks and objectives.
• Evaluating and enhancing internal control processes, risk management frameworks, and operational efficiencies.
• Partnering with Finance and Operations to strengthen the financial control environment.
• Ensuring compliance with Group policies, local procedures, and relevant legal standards.
• Promoting awareness and understanding of key policies such as fraud prevention and delegation of authority.
• Using data analytics to proactively identify unusual trends, conduct risk assessments, and investigate potential issues like fraud, negligence, or inefficiency.
• Preparing and delivering detailed reports on audit findings to executive management and the Group internal control function.
• Managing the fraud, ethics, and compliance hotline, overseeing investigations, and developing resolutions for violations.
• Leading special internal audit investigations to uncover malpractice and recommend corrective actions.
• Fostering positive, collaborative relationships with stakeholders to drive effective audit practices and continuous improvement.
