Intermediate Software Developer

SUMMARY:
Our client, a well established supply chain and logistics company, division of a JSE listed Group, seeks an Intermediate-level Developer / Analyst, to work with modern Microsoft development tools and assist in developing reliable modern applications.

POSITION INFO:
Minimum Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science.
• Minimum 5+ years relevant work experience.
• Solid experience with:
  • C# or VB.Net and .Net Core and .Net Framework
  • SQL (Microsoft SQL Server) – procedures, triggers, functions, views.
  • Excel.
• Strong skills in object-oriented programming, and familiarity with common technologies like C#, Java, or JavaScript.
• Good skills in troubleshooting and debugging across multiple environments.

• Visual Basic .Net
• Team Foundation Server or GIT
• Xamarin and MAUI development
• ASP.Net and MVVC web applications
• Crystal Reports
• SQL Server Analysis Services and Integration Services
• Microsoft Biztalk and EDI concepts
• K2 Workflows and SmartForms (Nintex Automation)

• Work with senior development resources to re-architect the existing applications to C# and Azure containerised deployment.
• Assist in the development of mobile applications.
• Handle change- and bug-requests from the helpdesk-system and provide efficient solutions
• Analyse business requirements and transform them into functional and technical design.
• Support of existing:
  • MAUI, Xamarin and ASP.Net MVVC applications
  • .Net Framework multi-tier applications using Vb.Net
  • SQL Server objects

• Maintain and modify existing applications.
• Provide design documents and documentation.
