SUMMARY:
The Database Administrator is responsible for the performance, integrity and security of a database. The DBA will be involved in planning and development of the database, and troubleshoot any issues on behalf of users. Must have solid foundation in database administration, cloud architecture and Windows-based systems.

POSITION INFO:
Responsibilities:

Install, configure and maintain database systems
Monitor database performance, implement changes and apply patches and upgrades
Collaborate with development teams to design and deploy scalable, reliable database solutions
Develop and implement strategies for disaster recovery and data archiving
Document database configurations, policies and procedures
Automate infrastructure deployment and configuration tasks using PowerShell
Collect, clean and interpret data from various sources to support business analysis
Perform data analysis using data visualization tool
Create and maintain dashboards and reports to communicate findings effectively

Education:

Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related-work experience
Min 3 years' experience employing and managing database management systems
Proficiency in SQL programming and performance tuning
Knowledge of database security, back up and recovery processes
