Job Description
A concern in the norther suburbs is on the lookout for a high flying, passionate and skilled C# .Net Backend Developer to join their dynamic team on a 6 month contract basis. The suitable candidate will need to have a keen interest in working within a collaborative environment and love solving problems.
The incumbent will be an individual that is also eager to grow their expertise who will be able to hit the ground running.
The key responsibilities for this role will include:
- Develop and maintain backend services and API’s using C# .Net Core and related technologies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including front end developers, product managers and QA to deliver high quality solutions
- Optimise application performance, ensuring high scalability, reliability and security
- Integrate with third-party API’s and external systems as required
- Write clean, maintainable and well-documented code following best practices
- Troubleshoot, debug and resolve application issues in a timely manner
- Document system designs, processes and specifications
The requirements:
Qualification: - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field or equivalent experience
Experience: - Minimum of 3 years of experience in C# .NET development
- Strong understanding of .NET Core, ASP.NET MVC/Web API and Entity Framework/Core
- Experience with SQL Server and writing efficient, complex queries
- Knowledge of software architecture principles, design patterns, and best practices
- Familiarity with RESTful API design and development
Skills Required: - Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
