SUMMARY:
Our client specializes in project support for the (petro)chemical and maritime industries. They provide personnel in the areas of Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Operations, Maintenance, and Safety. They are seeking an Integration Engineer (HVAC-R Systems) to join their team in the Netherlands.

Non- negotiable qualifications and experience required:

Location Requirement: Candidates should either be South African residents currently living in the Netherlands or South Africans willing to relocate to the Netherlands.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, HVAC, or a related field.
Experience: At least 3 years of experience in HVAC-R system integration or engineering, preferably in large-scale commercial or industrial projects.
Languages: Fluent in Afrikaans.

Skills:

Strong understanding of HVAC-R system components, integration techniques, and industry standards.
Experience with building automation systems (BAS), control systems, and energy management.
Proficiency in relevant engineering software (AutoCAD, Revit, or similar design tools).
Solid troubleshooting skills and ability to resolve technical challenges.

Personal Skills: Excellent communication and teamwork abilities, attention to detail, and strong problem-solving skills.

Duties and responsibilities:

Develop and implement integration strategies for HVAC-R systems in larger infrastructure projects.
Collaborate with engineering teams to design, test, and commission HVAC-R systems that meet client specifications.
Analyze system performance and provide recommendations to improve energy efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance system reliability.
Oversee the integration of HVAC-R systems with other building automation systems (BAS) and controls.
Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure the quality of components and timely delivery for project milestones.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to system integration during both the construction and operational phases.
Prepare detailed technical documentation, including system integration reports and user manuals.
Ensure compliance with local and international safety regulations and industry standards.
