Their team is dedicated to delivering excellence in every project, and they are seeking a highly skilled Instrumentation and Controls Commissioning Engineer to join their team. Serve as a specialist engineer for the commissioning of instrumentation and control systems for units with extensive control.

Identify and explain the working/function principle of main equipment/system components.

Understand the purpose and function of all field instrumentation.

Read and interpret PIDs, drawings, and wiring diagrams.

Support customers in all questions related to supplied control systems and instrumentation, including integration into plant control.

Collaborate with the Mechanical Commissioning Engineer.

Document and report on all site work related to controls.

Solve problems with the support of the company's headquarters.

Perform basic control system work and necessary adjustments during service & overhauls on turbomachinery and its auxiliary systems.

Adjust transmitters, positioners, PLCs, etc.

Change/replace instruments, transmitters, controls, etc.

Carry out changes to the control system.

Make meaningful decisions in complex situations with incomplete information.

Commission field Instrumentation calibration checks and loop-checks.
-
Commission motor control centers, motors, and control valves.
-
Check, adjust, and troubleshoot control systems, remote data transfer systems, and other controls equipment.

Implement software modifications in control systems and/or visualization systems according to company requirements.

Check startup interlock alarm and shutdown system (engine protection) together with the mechanical commissioning engineer.
