Are you a highly skilled Instrumentation Engineer with a strong background in Oil & Gas? We're looking for an experienced professional to take on a key technical role supporting instrumentation systems across complex industrial operations.

POSITION INFO:

?️ Key Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support across a wide range of instrumentation including pressure, temperature, level, flow, valves (control, relief, MOVs, EIVs), custody metering systems, radar tank gauging, compressor and pump field instrumentation, VMS, and CCS systems
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in field instrumentation, control systems, and analyzer equipment (e.g., H₂S, LEL, pH, O₂, CO/CO₂ analyzers, gas chromatographs, fire & gas detectors)
• Apply solid engineering judgment and field knowledge to optimize plant reliability, support design modifications, and solve operational problems
• Develop and issue engineering design packages for I&C systems in accordance with applicable industry standards and company specifications
• Conduct vendor technical evaluations and participate in bid reviews and clarification meetings
• Support plant Turnaround & Inspection (T&I) activities related to instrumentation
• Provide DCS/PLC troubleshooting support using trend analysis, loop drawings, and I/O cross-references
• Collaborate with maintenance and operations teams to enhance plant performance and resolve chronic issues
• Lead or contribute to incident investigations (e.g., 5 Why’s, TapRoot) and produce detailed technical reports
• Support feasibility studies, scope development, project reviews, and commissioning activities for I&C-related projects

✅ Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation & Control Engineering, or equivalent
• 12–15 years of experience in Instrumentation Engineering, with a strong background in the Oil & Gas industry
• Deep knowledge of relevant standards: API, BS, ISO, ASME, ANSI, IEC, ISA, IEEE
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, including in metering systems and plant optimization
• Working knowledge of DCS, ESD, VMS, PLCs, and auxiliary control systems
• Instrumentation certifications are an asset
• Familiarity with hazardous area instrumentation and safety devices
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in cross-disciplinary teams
• Fluent in English and professionally presented
