POSITION INFO:
Manufacturing concern is seeking an In-house Group Accountant to perform the following:
- Prepare on a monthly basis all taxes and VAT and provisional taxes for 4 companies
- Handle all SARS queries
- Prepare Monthly Management accounts
- Financial Planning and Forecasting
- Oversee Bookkeeper and admin staff
- Invoicing and payments
- Invoicing and payments in foreign currency
- Reconcile of invoices
- Provisioning of monthly costs accruals through a recon of accounts and supplier statement at month end
- Remain up to date with IFRS requirements
- Make necessary provisions in the accounts in line with IFRS
- Ensure necessary internal control systems are in place for process in area of responsibility.
