POSITION INFO:

Our client is currently seeking an Industrial Engineer to join their team on a contract basis.

Requirements:

• Grade 12 or equivalent
• Diploma in Industrial Engineering
• Project Management (advantageous)
• 2-5 years’ experience
• Automotive experience (advantageous)

Technical Skills and Specialist Knowledge:

• Use of Measuring Equipment
• Strong communication skills
• Leadership skills to deliver projects, processes, and manufacturing improvements in a lean manufacturing environment
• Analytical thinker
• Problem-solving skills
• Teamwork
• Proficiency in MS Office

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Eliminate waste and enhance efficiency
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives
• Apply 5S and safety/environmental practices
• Ensure quality standards are met
• Manage attendance and people development
• Handle general operational tasks as required
