In-house Legal Council

Key Responsibilities

• Provide support to the Directors and Executive Suite
• Company secretarial or general administrative support
  • Resolutions
  • Minutes and actions for Board and Exco meetings
  • Maintain Company documents
  • All related Corporate Governance matters
• Reviewing and drafting contracts
• Day-to-day contract management assistance and advice, including Funding and Franchisor agreements
• Management of Lease Agreements
• Management of Insurance Claims via broker
• Any other duties, as assigned by Executive Management and Directors, in line with the role.

• A passion for, and understanding of commercial law
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Able to handle multiple projects, prioritise work and work effectively with limited supervision
• Able to work under pressure and deliver within timeframes
• Good project management skills
• Excellent negotiation skills

Requirements

• Paralegal Certificate, BA Law or similar qualification
• A BCom Law degree will be advantageous
• >5 years’ experience
• Strong Commercial background
