Our client in the computer technology sector is seeking a professional IT Technical Project Manager.

POSITION INFO:
Job Description
We are hiring an IT Technical Project Manager to join the Software Development Life Cycle Operations team to implement tools and processes to ensure NetSuite Product Engineering Teams adherence to our SDLC policies and guidelines. We are looking for someone who has a passion for driving projects to completion and the aptitude for rolling up their sleeves to keep the overall program moving forward. “Rolling up their sleeves” includes collaborating with are engineering partners to solve process/tooling challenges, writing requirements for new tooling changes, and verifying recent changes are working as expected.

Qualifications/Skills:

A degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience
A minimum of 7 years’ experience in the project management field
A team player that can successfully work with engineers.
Solid understanding of Software Defect Life Cycle
Understanding of development tools such as Jira, GIT, Perforce
Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills
Experience giving presentations.
Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook Excellent written and oral communication (English)

Responsibilities

Manage the development and implementation process of a specific company product involving departmental or cross-functional teams focused on the delivery of new or existing products.
Plan and direct schedules and monitor budget/spending.
Monitor the project from initiation through delivery.
Organize the interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project/product on schedule and within budget constraints.
Assign and monitor work of systems analysis and program staff, providing technical support and direction.
